Abstract

Do we still have the right to speak about culture and art if the relativism ruling around these concepts and their fields make us face obsessively the multiplicities which seem to unable a global and coherent vision ? Under these circumstances the author, recovering the platonic and neoplatonic concepts from the trascendent ones, tries to introduce some possible objective and supratemporal basis to restore an unitary concept which allows the return to unity that is hidden behind the diversity of the cultural and artistic phenomena in different times and manifestations of the culture and art history.

Author Biography

Kurt Spang

Licenciada en educación con especialización en Ciencias Sociales de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Historiadora de la misma Universidad, Especialisata en Educación Ambiental y candidata al título de Maestría por la Universidad de La Sabana. Entre sus publicaciones se pueden mecionar los libros de historia de sexto a noveno bachillerato realizados en el Convenio "Bachillerato Rural" entre el Programa de Alfabetización de la Secretaría de México y el Ministerío de Educación Nacional de Colombia.
