Abstract

Two basic thesis are defended in the text: a) The getting out from the sentimental labyrinth consists on sticking to a hierarchical theory of the human acts (knowing and wanting), since the effects are the redundancy of such acts in the faculties; b) feelings education depends on the respect for the feelings at the different hierarchical levels. It is preceded by a critical analysis about what we have inherited from the study of the philosophy history.

Author Biography

Juan Fernando Sellés Dauder

Doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad de Navarra. Profesor adjunto de la misma universidad. Entre los años 1995 y 1997 estuvo vinculado como profesor visitante en la Universidad de La Sabana. Entre sus publicaciones cabe destacar los libros Conocer y amar (1995; 2'1 ed., 2000), Curso breve de teoría del conocimiento (1997), La persona humana, vols. I-III (1998) y, en esta misma colección, los cuadernos: Hábitos y virtud, vols. I-III (1998), Sobre el bien (1999), La prudencia (1999) y Razón teórica y razón práctica (2000), Las pasiones del alma (2000) y La sensualidad (2000).
