Abstract
Norwid's poetry is not only one of the most surprising work in the Polish literature, but also one which every year is increasingly considered among the most outstanding pieces in the universal literature. The author of the article, one of the most famous literary axiologists and prestigious expert of this kind of poetry, explains the different reasons and circles of reception and admiration of the verses by the poet who is closest to the literary aesthetics of John Paul II.
