Abstract
The late 1980 Nobel Prize Czeslaw Milosz was recognized worldwide as one of the most prestigious 20th century poets. His poetry, with deep humanistic roots, enables modern readers an individual approach of our contemporaneous culture. The article sketches the most important topics of his poetics and the main features of his formal aesthetics.
