Cambio estético y compromiso político en Buñel (1920-1933): Un perro andaluz y Las Hurdes. Tierra sin Pan
Abstract
In the present work, three main objectives are seen: 1. Situating Buñuel in the generational context; 2. Elucidating and weighing up the main aesthetic changes found between his first movie and the documentary filmed at Las Hurdes, and 3. construe the documentary from the committed-work concept, by placing it within some specific temporary coordinates (1928-1933). In the lee of the above-mentioned objectives, the transit from avant-garde to ahead-of-the times literature is shown as well, where these two films by Buñuel can be situated.
