Principios, pluralidad y lenguaje en física1, 2-3
Abstract
In the first book of the Physics, Aristotle gives his account of the pre-Socratic question for the principles. In this article, I seek to show how Aristotle deduces the necessity of accepting a plurality of significations in order for language to be possible. I consider: 1) dialectics and philosophy in this passage; 2) arguments for the plurality of principles; 3) the need to accept a plurality and indivisibility of significations.
