Abstract

The current post-metaphysical intellectual and cultural climate obliges one to ask whether or not it still is possible to examine the serious problems in our society from a metaphysical perspective, particularly the senselessness and the violence. To approach both issues, the authors turned to the metaphysics of Thomas Aquinas, as revitalized by the Canadian philosopher Lawrence Dewan.
