La estructura de la cláusula en español. Algunas consideraciones generales desde la perspectiva diacrónica
Abstract
The following article analyzes the internal structure of the clause, understood as the syntactic unit wherein the predicate is combined with various constituents, one being the subject. Required or not by the predicate, the constituents perform certain syntactic functions. Using the syntactic and semantic values usually assigned to the cases in Latin as a starting point, the author inquires into the constituents that are recognizable within the Latin clause and the changes that have occurred with the conversion to Spanish.
