The article analyzes the priority of emotional life in individual and social conduct, and its unquestionable importance in the formation of popular culture and political practice. It examines the conceptual framework within which the forms of morality and institutional organization in the modern societies arise and the factors that have brought about the emotivism found in the contemporary life. Finally, it draws attention to several manifestations of the social and moral normativity in our time.
