Abstract

To discover the place for technology in human life, one must ask what technology is and what is its connection to man. Three concepts are critical to answering these questions: a concept of nature that serves as a normative standard of action, as the Greeks understood it; a positive vision of production; and an understanding of man as a personal being.

Profesor titular del departamento de Filosofía de la Universidad de Navarra, en donde imparte clases de Antropología filosófica y Antropología social. Es director del proyecto de investigación interdisciplinar “Mente-cerebro: biología y subjetividad en la filosofía y en la neurociencia contemporáneas” del Instituto Cultura y Sociedad de la Universidad de Navarra.
