Abstract

The relationship between faith and reason in the thinking of Benedict XVI is the subject of this article. Ratzinger emphasizes the intellectual content of faith and underscores the decisive importance in Christianity of the belief that faith is true and its early alliance with philosophy. Christianity is not about moralism or ritualism.
