The reception of Nicolás Gómez Dávila’s work in Poland

In the article there is presented the reception of Nicolás Gómez Dávila’s work in Poland. There was published the Polish translation of the two volumes of Nuevos escolios a un texto implícito, the volume of Sucesivos escolios a un texto implícito and the essay “El Reaccionario Auténtico”. There are prepared to the publication the Polish versions of the two volumes of Escolios a un texto implícito and the essay “De iure”. Then there are described the tree volumes of Gómez Dávila studies that appeared after the international scientific congresses dedicated to the life and work of the Colombian thinker and organized in Poland. In the second part there are presented the results of investigations on fideism of Nicolás Gómez Dávila. And finally there is analyzed the relation and affinity between the fervent catholic from Colombia and “the first perfect nihilist of Europe”, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche.
