Abstract

The great Polish analytic philosopher. when sketching the objectives of contemporary philosophy, proposes his definition of ideology and establishes, through five assertions based on formal logic, differentiations amang them. Subsequently, in three steps, briefly bul convincingly documented, corresponding to pre-thomistic, thomistic and contemporary philosophy, points out, with remarkable reflexive distance, the duties of today's philosophcrs. These ideas are accompanied by a diagram, located in a fool's page. af referring problems. Finally, The author delineates the difficulties faeed by the philosopher of today when working al the contribution of synthetical philosophy's develapment.

Józef Maria Bochenski

Filósofo polaco de prestigio mundial y unos de los máximes exponentes de la lógica contemporánea. Estidoó el derecho en la universidad de Lvov y la economía en la Universidad de Poznan (Polonia). Entró a la Orden de los Dominicos y luego estudió la Filosofía en la Universidad de Friburgo en Suiza y en Angelicum de Roma. Fundador del Instituto de Europa Oriental (1958). Doctor honoris causa de varias universidades. Autor de numerosos libros y tratados, entre otros al español fueron traducidos: La folosofía actual, Los métodos actuales del pensamiento, Qué es autoridad, El materialismo dialéctico, Introducción al pensamiento dialéctico, Introducción al pensamiento filosófico, Historia de la lógica formal.
