Rhythm as "natural language"

Abstract

The author rejects sorne of the topics of rnodern utopian thought and tries to dernonstrate the validity of sorne classic concepts. He insists on the importance of rhythrn in present culture and its relation with irnage. After having reached a high level of refiection and intellectual cornplexity, analytical division of the world and specialization, the conternporary rnan rnust return to the beginning and define a vital frarnework.

Teresa Aizpún

Licenciada en Filosofía por la Universidad de Navarra (1984), Curso de aptitud pedagógica en el Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Zaragoza (1983). Beca de Doctorado en Filosofía en la Fundación Hanns-SeidelStiftung, Ludwig-Maximilians-UniversWit, München (Alemanía, 1991). Beca de Postgraduado de la Asociación de Amigos de la Universidad de Navarra (España, 1993). Ha sido profesora de Filosofía en la Universidad de Navarra. Profesora invitada por la Universidad Panamericana de México y por la Universidad Europea de Madrid CEES. Miembro de la International Association for Aesthetics, miembro del grupo de Investigaciones del Departamento de Estética e Historia de la filosofía de la Universidad de Sevilla.
